Swirling winds and the endless floor,
Yahweh beckons,”Come, follow my call.”
Old and familiar, regard them, no more,
Stars and sand, your faith to the fore.

This photo gives me a renewed vision of what it was like for Abram to leave all and follow God’s call.. He saw nothing for him but miles and miles of nothing but desert sand. Are we willing to give up everything even though we see nothing ahead for us–nothing that He has promised us? He died in faith (as they all did) not have received the promises.

We will certainly have our reward when He comes into His kingdom. 🙂

Abram was not a follower of God when he was called. His walk with God was step-by-step as God took him by his right hand, working miracles along the way. Isn’t that what God is doing with us? We know the destination, the land of milk and honey, heaven, but each of us takes a path step-by-step that God has prepared for us. Thank you for your beautiful post. God bless your Christian walk.
