Basking in His glory, resplendent in His light,
Favour and salvation, wrought by grace and might.
Night, its tribulations, evil put to flight,
Kingdom, day is dawning, behold the just and right.

Firm and quiet spirit, he thirsts for life divine,
Biding through harsh winter, his soul by cold, refine.
